Scratch is a programming language where you can create your own interactive stories, games, and animations. It is a high-level block-based visual programming language. Scratch is developed and maintained by MIT media lab at MIT. Scratch enables young people learn to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively - essential skills for life in the 21st century.

This Class does not require any prior programming knowledge or experience.


Students will learn the programming fundamentals using Scratch language using block coding.

About this Course


  • Grade:  ​​1st-3rd
  • Course Structure:  3hr camp with 15 mins break
  • Prerequisite: None
  • Course Certificate: After successfully completing the camp students will receive the camp completion certificate
  • Usage Area: Coding, Robotics and Game Design
  • Format Available: In-person and Online
  • Online Class Requirements: A computer (windows or apple mac), headphones, and a webcam to join the Zoom class from home. 
    In-Person Class Requirements: 
    Required material will be provided including laptops
