About this Course
- Grade: 4th-6th
- Course Structure: This course has three levels. Each Level is 12 classes(1 hr./week)
- Prerequisite: None
- Course Certificate: After successfully completing the course students will receive the course completion certificate.
- Usage Area: Coding, Robotics and Game Design
- Format Available: In-person and Online
- Online Class Requirements: A computer (windows or apple mac), headphones, and a webcam to join the Zoom class from home.
In-Person Class Requirements: Required material will be provided including laptops - Fee, Schedule, and Class Details: Visit the Online class registration page or In-Person class registration page.
Course Syllabus
This Class does not require any prior programming knowledge or experience.
In Level-1, students will learn the programming fundamentals using Python language. This level will cover – Python Program Structure, Variables, Input/Output, Conditional Statements, Various Loops, and Turtle Graphics.
In Level-2, students will learn the intermediate concepts of Python language. This level will cover – Datatypes, String handling, Lists, Advanced Loops, Basic & Advanced Functions.
In Level-3, students will learn the advanced concepts of Python language. This level will cover – Modules, File Input/output and Event handling, dictionary, and Python UI Interface using Tkinter.
