Lego Spike is a combination of hardware and software structure which is produced by Lego to make programmable robots.
Course Syllabus
Unleash your creativity as you design, build cool robots and then program those using the Lego Spike Platform. This class will teach core computer programming logic and reasoning skills using robotics engineering.
This course is is three level course. Each level is 12 weeks.
Level-1 -Basic Movements of Robots, Turning, Basic concepts of programming, Ultrasonic Sensor and Introduction to Fll challenges, basic attachments building and a mockup competition
Level-2-Focus on sensors-Touch sensor, Color sensor, and Distance Sensor. Use of deeper Programming concepts of -for loop -if else, Operators etc. Use of Multiple sensors, line following concepts and challenges.
Level-3-Focus on motors and how to add extra motors, motor controls, Gyrosopic Sensor, Deeper concepts of programming like make your own block, complex operators and parallel processing. Make students ready to learn programming languages like Python etc. A mockup FLL competition.
